Hello-ween!

Questa volta non voglio trattare di moda ma semplicemente festeggiare con voi una festa speciale.
Dovunque tu sia, nell'ovest del globo, il 31 ottobre e il 1 novembre è un particolare periodo in cui si celebra gli spiriti dei morti.

This time I don't want to talk about fashion but just celebrate with you a special holiday.
Wherever you are, in the west part of the globe, the 31 october and the 1 november is a special time to celebrate the spirits of the death. 

Nelle Americhe e in Inghilterra, l'anima dell'irlandese Jack viene scacciata con le famose lanterne a zucca, ma il vero spettacolo di quest'arte si tiene durante The Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze, tutti gli anni a NY, dove sculture di zucca rendono l'atmosfera perfetta per una passeggiata al lume di lanterne: se siete nella grande mela, non perdetelo!

In America and in England, the soul of the Irish Jack is banished with the famous pumpkin lanterns, but the real show of this art takes place during The Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze, every year in NY, where pumpkin sculptures make the perfect atmosphere for a walk by lanterns light: if you are in the Big Apple, do not miss it!

Nel resto del mondo invece c'è a Dublino il Samhain Parade, dove si festeggia anche il capodanno celtico con una parata solo in costumi spettrali.
In Svezia invece c'è il Falu Prision Hotel, dove potete soggiornare in comode stanze ricavate dalle celle di prigione: simile è il Celica Hostel, in Slovenia, ricavato da una prigione, ma ogni stanza rivisitata da un artista emergente.
USA Hostel, a San Diego, invece è la dimora del fantasma di un pistolero che spesso e volentieri si fa sentire aprendo mobili, facendo baccano e bisbigliando sul collo dei clienti.

In the rest of the world instead there is the Samhain Parade in Dublin, where also celebrates the Celtic New Year with a parade only in spooky costumes.
In Sweden, there's an Falu Prision Hotel, where you can stay in comfortable rooms created from prison cells: similar is the Hostel Celicain Slovenia a converted prison, but every room is renovated anew by an emerging artist.
USA Hostel, San Diego, instead it's the abode of the gunslinger ghost who often makes itself heard by opening furniture, making noise and whispering on the neck of the customers.

In Italia invece c'è la ricostruzione di un villaggio celtico a Riolo Terme (Ravenna), mentre il castello di Bardi  (Parma) organizza visite guidate alla caccia del fantasma che lo abita, per i più spericolati possono passare a Lama Mocogno, sull'Appennino modenese, dove celebrando il buio e le maschere più spaventose, ci si cimenta anche in una corsa delle bare, dove trasportare sarcophagi di legno su carriole in un percorso in discesa.
Per le signore, invece, c'è sempre a Corinaldo (Ancona) Miss Strega 2013.

Queste sono solo alcune delle attività da fare, e mentre a Napoli abbiamo la nostra bella fetta di hotel infestati, penso che mi unirò all' Halloween Tour nel centro storico. Speriamo solo che il fantasma di Lucia, a fine percorso, non si sorprenda troppo vedendoci vestiti leggeri: 31 ottobre a 24 gradi, the summer is still going strong.

These are just some of the activities to do, and while in Naples we have our fair share of haunted hotels, I think I will join all 'Halloween tour' in the old town. We only hope that the ghost of Lucia at the end of the tour, won't be flabbergasted seeing us in too thin clothing: October 31 in 24 ° C, the summer is still going strong.
